Balmore Golf Club ladies held their club championships recently.
The ladies’ champion was Enid Young, who defeated Carol Sim.
And the winner of the Bronze Cup was Eleanor Starling, who beat May McGhee.
And 27 ladies played for the Harry Whyte Trophy results last week.

Milngavie Golf Club held its annual Open Tri-Am competition in glorious sunny conditions.
This was in stark contrast to the monsoon conditions of last year.
This year, the sun shone and the course looked magnificent.
Forty teams entered and the club had managed to find sponsors for nearly every hole, so there were plenty of prizes to be won.
Unbelievably, the competition produced two holes in one – Milngavie member Alicia Wilson aced the sixth hole and Anne Howie from Whitecraigs did the same at the 12th hole.
The overall winners of the Milngavie Quaich were Elaine Robb, Ann McDonald (both Milngavie) and Laura McGeachy (Windyhill).
Hilton Park Golf Club Ladies Section held its Moira Alexander Trophy.
The Stableford event took place on Saturday and the results were: Norma Choat (23) 39 points (bih), Iris Gillan (29) 39 points, Jill Reid (22) 38 points (bih), Eleanor Fenner (22) 38 points.
Douglas Park Golf ladies section held a Stableford Competition last Friday.
Results: Silver – Norma Campbell (17) – 37 pts, Silver – Susan Griffin (13) – 36 pts, Bronze – Denise Macnaughton (30) – 40 pts, Bronze – Marie Bryce (21) – 39 pts.
Clober Golf Club ladies’ section held a medal competition last week.
The SSS and CSS were 67, and a total of 20 players took part.
The results from the event were : Silver – scratch: May Myers with 85. Jean Johnston 69 (18).
Bronze – scratch: Mary Smith with 92. Frances McPherson 62 (21), Heidi Mullen 63 (33).
