INTERIM Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald said there is a lot at stake over the next couple of weeks - with the squad playing six games in 19 days including the Ramsdens Cup Final - but are looking forward to the challenge.
Archibald (pictured) says his squad are not daunted as they chase league leaders Morton for the top spot.
He said: “It was good to get the win at Hamilton last Saturday – it’s the first time we’ve won there for a few years and it came at the right time when we’re needing to keep the winning.”
But he added: “We were disappointed with yet another postponement to the midweek away game to Cowdenbeath because of snow over there.
“We’ll now play them next Wednesday March 27, but it means we’ll now have six games in 19 days including the Ramsdens Cup Final.
“It’s going to be a hectic time, but these are all big games and the kind of games players want to play in.
“There’s a lot at stake, starting this weekend against Livingston, but we’re all looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
On the injury front Archibald reckons Paul Paton could return from injury for Saturday’s game.
Supporters will also get the opportunity this Saturday to get their hands on some extra cup final tickets.
A spokeswoman said: “Thistle’s extra allocation of tickets for the Ramsdens Cup Final go on sale this Saturday before our home game against Livingston. They will be on sale from the stadium offices at Firhill from 1.30pm.
“You can also get your tickets by calling the club on 0871 402 1971 – again from 1.30pm.”
Tickets are priced £14 for adults and £5 concession and will be sold on a first come first served basis, limited to two per person until sold out.
