Belgian defender Frédéric Frans is looking forward to the international break and will enjoy it more because of the squad’s back to back wins.
This will be the first time the player has returned home since joining Partick Thistle in December last year.
He said: “I’m going back to Belgium to see some family and friends I haven’t seen since I moved to Glasgow.
“Beating Inverness and winning back to back games will let me enjoy it even more.”
He added: “It’s always good to get a win before the international break.
“It gives you the chance to recharge the batteries with the confidence high and the whole team flying. If you lose going into it then you don’t have the chance to get back and make it better.”
The win against Inverness last Saturday was the first time since promotion two years ago that Thistle have won back to back games – a statistic the defender is delighted to have ended.
He said: “It was a massive win for us, it’s back to back wins and another three points towards safety and a massive boost.”
