Pamela is first veteran at Girvan

PAMELA McCROSSAN was first veteran over 45 in the Girvan half marathon recently in a time of 1hr 31mins 52sec over an extremely hot and hilly course.

She was followed by Stephen McKee 1.58.15 and Evelyn McKee 2.08.30.

Meanwhile, in the Crieff 10k Prasad Prasad won the race outright outright in a time of 33mins 8secs, followed by Pete Cartwright (46.22).

Previously in the Bridge of Earn 5, Pete Cartwright ran well to finish in 33mins 8secs.

At the beginning of the month in the Central and Southern League Match 3 at Wishaw there were a number of good results with the club gaining promotion to division two after some fine performances in three matches over the past few months.

A group of 20 Harriers members took part in the Sinclair Trophy last Saturday.

The race was a two loop course around North Drumry with a total distance over 5.4 miles. In warm conditions many good times were recorded.
