Garscube Harriers athlete Catriona Graves has been nominated for her consistently outstanding performances at home and abroad.
The young runner was recently nominated for the Scottish Athletics U20 athlete of the year award.
Meanwhile Garscube duo John Bell and Tony Hall were presented with their Sports Council of Glasgow awards for Coach of the year and Volunteer of the year respectively by Sportscotland representative Sandy Hodge at the Garscube Complex.
Back on the track at the 46th Allan Scally Road Relay race on Saturday, the Garscube Mens A team finished in 18th position, 1st leg, Jim McAneny (32-01), 2nd leg, Alistair Cuthbertson (31-52), 3rd leg, John Bell (28-16), 4th leg, Darren McGowan (34-36). In a incomplete Mens B team 1st leg, Rob McLennan (28-15), 2nd leg, John McLaughlin ( 31-48 ), 3rd leg, Kieran McLaughlin ( 34-24 ).
And on Sunday at the Straven Striders run 10k at Whitelee Forest Wind Farm, 1st home for the club was Peter Dow in a time of (45-01), Caroline Dow (51-31), Ed McKillop (54-29) and Heather McKillop (55-26).
