Partick Thistle have agreed to establish a full-time training base at the Garscube Sports Complex in Bearsden.
After advanced talks with the centre, the club are likely to hold pre-season training at Garscube when the players report back next Friday.
It is hoped the move will bring added stability to the club which had previously been based at various training facilities across Glasgow.
A spokesperson from the club stated the deal has been agreed in principal, although it has yet to be officially signed.
He said: “It has been confirmed, all that is left is to work out the details.
“It’s a big move for the club and will give players and coaches a much more professional environment to work and train in.
“A full-time base will be a massive benefit to the team and we hope that will be reflected on the pitch this season.
“The new facility will also help to attract new players, which is something that should always be considered for a move such as this.”
Featuring two all-weather surfaces and six grass pitches, Garscube can also boast an exercise studio and fitness suite.
The complex was most recently used by SPFL rivals Kilmarnock, who will train at their home ground this season.
Meanwhile, Thistle are continuing discussions with manager Alan Archibald over a contract extension.
