Following a recent restructuring of Milngavie Wanderers AFC the club are now looking to attract new players and back room staff.
Club spokesman David Caldwell, said: “We are looking to attract more locally based players . . . we are also looking for coaches and a physiotherapist to support the team.”
Mr Caldwell played professional football for 18 years and wants to pass on as much knowledge and experience as possible to support any players looking to succeed in professional football.
He added: “We are looking to forge closer links with the local community and will look to provide a free open day for kids to get to know the club better.”
And he added that although a date has not yet been fixed for the open day, it would provide young players with the opportunity to see what it would be like to be coached and carry out speed drills as well as test their skills against other kids in the area under a controlled and measured environment.
