Milngavie Boys Club 98s won the 28th Lenzie Football Festival on Sunday for the second year in a row.

The boys all born in 1998 won two matches and drew one other match to top the table.

In the final game against Riverside blues the lads had a tough encounter, but the team came through with a last minute goal from outside the box by Ribbie Nicholl. Other scorers were: Gavin Crichton, Jack McFarlane and Eddie Hart.

The club now has 15 teams this year and has just become a Community Club with the SYFA due to the popularity of the teams.

Players are still being sought for the Under 19s and the 2002s age groups.
