All the hard work payed off for sporting starlets from Killearn Primary School after they won the Scottish Lacrosse Champions recently.
PE specialist for the school, Amanda McKie, said: “We have been preparing for the Scottish Pop Lacrosse Championships after winning the Central Regional events in April and our two teams won both the Under 11 and Open Scottish Pop Lacrosse Championships at the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley.”
The two teams won through their group matches to compete against Strathblane Primary School in the final.
Miss McKie added: “This is a great achievement for Stirling Schools as this is the first time in the history of the event that they have placed both first and second in the Scottish Championships. Killearn Primary School Under 11 team now go on to represent Scotland at the British Pop Lacrosse Championships at the University of Hertordshire later this month.”
