Partick Thistle boss Alan Archibald is looking to add to his squad as they limber up for the new SPL season in three weeks time.
Following their 5-1 demolition of Annan on Tuesday, Archibald is hoping to add midfielder Gary Fraser to his pack.
The former Hamilton 18-year-old stood out a mile at Galabank, scoring a second half brace to impress the gaffer.
Archibald said he had invited Fraser to train with the squad and was ‘very very impressed’ with the way he settled in with the rest of the squad.
Although Archibald had made his intentions clear to the trialist he said that the decision is now up to him.
Following the disappointing 2-1 defeat against Gateshead on Saturday, it didn’t take long for Thistle to make amends at Galabank.
Jordan McMillan and Christie Elliot scored twice in the first half and Kris Doolan bagged the third on the hour.
Annan got one back before Fraser put two more past the keeper .
On Saturday Thistle go to Dumbarton for another friendly.
The match kicks off at 3pm
