Alan Archibald reckons Partick Thistle will have their work cut out when they face Hibernian at Firhill on Monday.

The Jags boss said: “We are under no illusions.

“We will need to be on top form or they will punish us.

“At this level any mistakes will be pounced on. We need to be on form for the whole 90 minutes.”

Against St Johnstone on Saturday, Thistle had the better of the first half but not the second.

Archie said: “The 1-1 score was a fair result and reflected our performance.”

However against Hibs Archibald’s knows they can’t afford any slip ups, adding: “If we give away possession we will pay for it.

“Hibs are not invincible. Last week they were defeated 3-0 by Inverness CT, but prior to this they have been on form winning four or five games in a run.”

On the injury front, keeper Scott Fox, who was injured in training last Friday just before the St Johnstone game, is back to full fitness.

However defender Jordan McMillan is still out with an ankle injury and not likely to be fit to play.
