Farmer is fastest for Clydesdale Harriers

KEVIN FARMER was the fastest Clydesdale Harrier at the recent Paisley 10k in a time of 39mins 36secs.

He was followed by Watson Jones (46.28), Yvonne Green (47.02 pb), Colin Gray (48.20), Stephen McKee (49.59), Evelyn McKee (62.48), and Sandy McDonald (62.49).

Previously in the Blythswood Care Drymen 10k, which took place over a hilly, mixed terrain route club, member Pamela McCrossan was fastest woman in 42.39.

Following closely behind her was Anne Murray (42.58) and Marina McCallum (43.02).

In the Achilles Heel Bella 5k in Bellahouston Park. Colin Gray ran well to finish in a time of 23mins 16secs.

In the Bute Highland Games 10k, three athletes took part. Pamela McCrossan won the female race in a time of 41.28 followed by Michael Diver.

Lastly in the Broadwood 5k a number of runners were unfortunately led the wrong way at a point in the course so the distance ran was 4.6k which was reflected on the times.

Fastest harrier was Pete Cartwright (19.29), followed by Yvonne Green (20.51), and Colin Gray (21.32).
