Partick Thistle came so close to clinching three points from their game against Hearts, but were denied by a late equaliser just two minutes from time.
The Firhill lads sparkled in the first half - but apart from an offside goal from Kris Doolan in the ninth minute, who diverted a Conrad Balatoni shot - the ball just wouldn’t go in the net.
It wasn’t until a well deserved penalty in the 85 minute that the deadlock was broken. John Baird was bundled to the ground by Jamie Walker and referee Bobby Madden pointed to the spot.
Aaron Muirhead took the shot and lashed it into the net.
With time running out Thistle felt the game was now theirs, but it wasn’t to be.
Jamie Walker was able to make amends for his part in the Thistle penalty when he buried a shot past a helpless Scott Fox in the 88th minute.
