HIGH FLYERS . . . Ian and Laura Macdougall from Douglas Park Golf Club in Milngavie show off the club’s Eagle Trophy.
The couple won the open mixed foursomes competition which is one of the biggest annual club tournaments played at the club.
Former club captain Colin McEwen said: “This is the 40th anniversary of the tournament.
“The Trophy — a sculpted bronze eagle represents the Roman presence on the Antonine Wall which runs though part of the club course.”
The trophy was presented to the club in 1972 by the late past captain John and Jean Watson.
The winners of the scratch prize were James and Gill Hendry also from Douglas Park Golf Club.
