CLYDESDALE Harriers had several members of the club competing at the Pollock Park run and Brian Goodwin 10k in Glasgow recently.
Anne Murray ran well to finish as first veteran over 45, followed by Mark Barrow (43.27).
Previously in the Rouken Glen 10k, again on the southside of Glasgow, over a tough course, Paul Carroll had an excellent run finishing third overall in 35mins 46secs.
Next club runner to finish was Brian Gallagher (37.14), and Donald Cameron (37.16). The three also won first male team prize.
In the Dalbeattie Civic Half Marathon the previous weekend, club member Stephen McKee ran well to finish in 1hr 54mins 55secs over the hilly course.
He was followed by Tricia Stevenson (2.04.25) and Evelyn McKee (2.04.25).
Also that day was the Men’s Health Forum 10k in which Mark Barrow narrowly missed out on a personal best time, finishing in 42mins 42secs.
He was followed by Colin Gray (49.31).
Lastly, at the Kelvin 5k Fun Run, Alistair Kerr finished the hilly race in 22mins 28secs.
