On Sunday the Glasgow Women’s 10k took place and in warm conditions a number of Clydesdale Harrier took part.
Among them was Marina McCallum who was one of the official pacemakers and finished in a time of 49mins 44secs. She also helped a lot of the runners achieve their target time of sub-50 minutes.
Last Wednesday there were two races run for the club.
The first was the Troon Tortoises 10k. Fastest harrier was Stephen McKee who finished in a personal best time of 47.53, followed by Evelyn McKee (51.56).
The other race was the SVHC organised race the Snowball Race (4.8 miles) which was run around the paths and tracks of Drumpellier Park, Coatbridge. Fastest harrier was Hugh Laverty (31.14), followed by Pamela McCrossan (32.13 and first female), and Bobby Young (34.00).
