PARTICK Thistle crashed out of the Scottish Cup on Saturday, losing 1-0 to promotion rivals Dunfermline at Firhill.

The Jags had their work cut out for them when defender Aaron Murhead was sent off in the first half, before Andy Barrowman’s 35th minute goal for the Pars.

Thistle’s Ross Forbes missed a penalty in the second half as his team tried to find an equaliser.

Make sure you get this week’s copy of the Milngavie and Bearsden Herald, out on Thursday, for a full match report and pictures.
