Alex represents Scotland in cross country race

Garscube Harrier athlete Alex Chalmers represented Scotland in the British and Irish Masters cross country races held at Woolaton Park Nottingham on Saturday, November 22.

He competed in the V45 category race run over 8k finished in 23rd position in a time of ( 28-32 ).

The following day Garscube Harriers staged the first of their Schools cross country races at Maryhill Park. On a beautiful morning more than 190 children from 31 schools provided a great running event with many personal best times being recorded.
