THE magical and hugely entertaining and imaginative Slava’s Snowshow comes to Glasgow’s Theatre Royal next month.
This fantastic show returns to the UK for the first time in three years with an 11 week tour ending in a special white Christmas season at London’s Royal Festival Hall from December 17 to January 8.

A combination of theatrical clowning and stunning spectacle, the show is performed by a highly renowned company of clowns led by Slava Polunin.
Slava Polunin creates a dream-like world where one extraordinary image melts into another culminating in a stunning finale leaving the audience literally knee-deep in snow.
Influenced by artists such as Charlie Chaplin, Marcel Marceau and Engibarov, Slava and his company has taken clowning out of the world of circus, and brought it to theatre lovers, fellow practitioners and families worldwide.
Slava’s Snowshow premiered in the UK in 1994 and has since toured the country, delighting audiences of all ages and winning an Olivier Award for Best Entertainment during its run at the Old Vic in 1998.
The Tony Award nominated show has won accolades all over the world, receiving the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Unique Theatrical Experience in 2005 and the prestigious Stanislavski Award in Slava’s native Russia in 2001.
Its popularity overseas has seen it performed in 120 cities in 30 countries to more than three million spectators in over 4000 performances.
