The nights are getting darker - but there’s always a warming, cosy light on plus delicious food and drink to warm you at the Burnbrae in Bearsden.
After months of painstaking preparation, the popular pub and restaurant has a new autumn menu - and to celebrate, for the next six weeks, we will offer readers a chance to sample their delicious fayre for free in our great competition.
Some great starters have been added to the menu, such as khobez flat breads with red pepper tapenade, cheese, rocket and archichokes. There is also a mouth-watering chicken and chorizo topping.
A dish which will be very popular is the new tex-mex tapas - spicy chicken strips, barbecue pulled pork, chicken and chorizo and smoked bean chilli served with tortillas and fresh dips. This great new set menu is served Monday to Friday until 7pm.
The Milngavie Road pub and restaurant’s popular grill night is on Thursday evenings, with all their steaks 100 per cent locally sourced through Campbells Prime Meats in Scotland.
Buy any two items in the grill section, and have a bottle of wine on the house. In addition, they have launched a new breakfast menu, served seven days until noon.
Manager Gerry Savage said: “With the nights getting colder, we’ve got something to warm everyone. Plus, there are plenty of old favourites - we look forward to welcoming you!”
We have teamed up with the Burnbrae to offer readers a meal for four, with wine, on the grill night.
To win, make sure you get your copy of this week’s Milngavie and Bearsden Herald, which is in shops now.
