Rugby Park plays host to Scotland’s third and final Autumn International in Kilmarnock on Saturday and and ScotRail is reminding customers travelling to the game by train that services will be busier than normal.

ScotRail will be adding carriages to services between Glasgow Central and Kilmarnock and a queuing systems will be in place at Glasgow Central before the game and Kilmarnock station afterwards.

Fans are also being advised to head back to Kilmarnock station as fast as possible after the final whistle.

To help customers arrive at the stadium on time, they should allow extra time for travel – as well as purchasing tickets in advance to avoid additional queuing on the day.

Tickets are available from staffed stations, telesales on 0344 811 0141, and via our mobile app or website: www.scotrail.co.uk

A ScotRail spokesman said: “We’re looking forward to helping fans travel by train to the Autumn International between Scotland and Georgia.

“Our advice to customers is to make sure to check your train times on our website or app and leave plenty of time for travel. Buying tickets in advance will also help reduce your queuing time.”

As with most special events, ScotRail will have extra staff on the ground to assist customers.
