Four rail stops will benefit from a £23,000 Scottish Government investment which will see new help-points installed.
These will allow customers to request information and assistance from ScotRail on a secure direct line, providing reassurance and up to date information.
The stations to benefit are Milngavie, Hillfoot, Bearsden and Westerton.
Car parks and shelters will also be upgraded.
A wider investment programme will see enhanced facilities introduced at more than 80 train stations throughout Scotland.
The funding, identified within existing Scottish Government budgets, will see upgraded facilities.
These include improved car parks, platform shelters and new ticket vending machines at stations across the network, including those serving the Commonwealth Games.
Scottish Government Transport Minister Keith Brown said: “This investment will help enhance the train travel experience for passengers in East Dunbartonshire and hopefully encourage even more people to ditch the car and take the train.
“The Scottish Government’s record levels of investment in our railways are resulting in real on-the-ground benefits being delivered by ScotRail.”
ScotRail managing director Steve Montgomery said: “Delivering these improvements forms part of our commitment to providing a modern and reliable rail network for our customers across Scotland.
“Customer service is at the heart of what we do and these new station facilities will help ensure that the service we deliver is of the highest standard.”
