TESCO’S plans for its controversial Milngavie revamp will go on show.
The supermarket giant is holding a three day public exhibition in the town on its proposals for a redeveloped store.
Tesco’s redesign has already been rejected by East Dunbartonshire Council and the Scottish Government.
Opponents say the multinational’s plans for its Gavin’s Mill store are too big and will hurt Milngavie Precinct.
Gloria Coats, corporate affairs manager, said: “I hope people will join us at the exhibition to see how our plans have developed to incorporate this feedback.
“We remain committed to investing in Milngavie. Those visiting the exhibition will be able to see how we’ve reduced the size and height of the building .”
The exhibitions take place at Milngavie Community Education Centre, Allander Road on Thursday, June 7 from noon – 8pm and the following day from 10am – 6pm and in the store on Saturday, June 9 from 9am – noon.
