TESCO’s plans to put up new shopping trolley bay at its Milngavie store were put on hold after councillors asked for a site visit before making a final decision.

The supermarket giant is looking for permission to erect six new bays, as well as a welcome and goodbye sign, additional parking and a new 1.8m fence at their recycling area.

Councillors at a recent planning board decided they would like to visit the site and assess the impact of the changes on the area and decided to put off a final decision for a future planning meeting.
