Primary 1 and Primary 2 pupils from The Glasgow Academy Milngavie were in nearby

Barloch Moor with Alan McBride, a countryside ranger from Mugdock Country Park, recently to create art in the moor.

They made a variety of beautiful art creations using all sorts of inspirational items from nature.

First of all they made a stick star, then they made a romantic ‘heart of love’ out of twigs which could be used to decorate a home.

The children were asked to name all their creations and one was cleverly called

‘Sticktastic’.

The children had great fun at the same time as getting some fresh air and exercise and learning about nature.
