Castlehill Primary’s Summer Fair was a huge success.

The weather, which had been awful all week, was good to them which meant they could hold all the outdoor activities.

Allander Jazz Band performed for the visiting parents, children and friends.

There was face-painting, home-baking, book stalls, a tombola, lucky dip and fairground games - and delicious burgers thanks to Castlehill Baptist Church and their barbecue skills.

One of the most popular stalls of the day was balloon modelling, which was done by P5 pupil Kyle Nielson.

He did a fantastic job and kept calm even when faced with a long queue. The fair raised a fantastic £1,300,which will be used to further enhance the children’s learning experiences in school.
