Sing along to The Sound of Music at the King’s Theatre

ONE oF the world’s best loved musicals, The Sound of Music, is coming to Glasgow’s King’s Theatre at the end of the month.

And your Milngavie and Bearsden Herald has teamed up with the organisers to offer a pair of tickets to see the show on Tuesday, October 30 at 7.30pm.

Pantheon return to tell this heart-warming story of the von Trapp family and their escape from Nazi occupied Austria.

With its unforgettable score, The Sound of Music touches the hearts of all ages and brims over with some of the most memorable songs ever produced for the stage.

These include My Favourite Things, Climb Ev’ry Mountain, The Lonely Goatherd, Sixteen Going on Seventeen, and of course the glorious title song, The Sound of Music.

This is a perfect treat for all the family and runs from Tuesday, November 30 to Saturday, November 3 - plus for one night only - Thursday, November 1 there will be a Sing-a-long Sound of Music giving you the chance to join in with the songs you know and love.

Be part of the party atmosphere by dressing up as an Austrian, a nun, some mountains, or even brown paper packages tied up with string.
