Bearsden’s Burnbrae pub is going to create a unique state-of-the-art beer garden on their roof to meet growing customer demand.
This major investment in the pub on Milngavie Road will will provide al fresco dining space for an extra 55 guests lifting the pub’s capacity to 250 diners. It will also provide a roof for the existing beer garden.
The new space will have a rustic interior and be themed around the West Highland Way.
The pub will remain open during the work which is expected to be completed mid November.
Gerry Savage, Burnbrae manager, said: “We are really excited about the plans for expansion and can’t wait to show it off. This is our second extension in the past three years, having previously added room for 40 more diners in 2012, and these changes are being driven by our popularity within the local community.
“Previously people faced long waits for a free table on busy days due to a lack of capacity which is a tribute to our team and our food.
“We are hugely grateful to the customers who have supported us.”
