An old school has been brought to life in a popular coffee shop in Bearsden Cross.

Reclaimed stone from the demolished Edwardian-era school in Govan has been used to create a facade in the interior as part of the makeover at Rose and Grants on Drymen Road. The cafe is in a 1910 building in a conservation area so the owner Ben Rose wanted to make sure their

renovation was in fitting with this.
