Nominate your champ

THE West Highland Gate restaurant in Milngavie has launched a search to find the most deserving members of the local neighbourhood to win the inaugural Beefeater Grill Community Champions Award.

Nominations are now sought to find the area’s most deserving people who will be awarded a bursary of £1,000 to help them continue their good work.

The Beefeater Grill Community Champions Award seeks to reward individuals and organisations who work tirelessly to support their neighbourhood and give their own time to help others.

Residents who feel they would like to nominate someone they know for the award can do so by filling out a nomination form at the West Highland Gate on Milngavie Road or by logging on to www.beefeatergrill.co.uk/champion

Lisa Willekens, a spokesperson from Beefeater Grill, who own the restaurant, said; “If you know someone who is constantly thinking of others before themselves and helps to make your community a better place then we at Beefeater Grill would like to hear from you. Scout leaders, youth workers and Sunday league coaches alike – it’s time to say thank you to those people who make our neighbourhood somewhere to be proud of.”

You have until Friday, October 28 to nominate your champion.
