EVERYONE is invited to KA Olympics on Friday, May 25 from 1pm at Balgray Playing Fields.

This exciting afternoon will culminate with a balloon launch at 3pm.

Matthew Corry (S3) from Bearsden recently returned a champion from The Brits Snowboarding Championships in Laxx, Switzerland.

He placed in three separate categories. 1st under 16 - Brits Laxx half pipe 1st under 16 – Brits Laxx big air 3rd under 16 – Brits Laxx slope style.

The Junior 4 pupils thought it would be a good idea to plant a tree to commemorate the 2012 Olympic Games.

They wrote to Dobbies in Milngavie to ask if they could help and they kindly agreed to supply the school with a tree of their choice.

One child from each class in the Junior School and Senior Prep were chosen to help select the tree.

They had a good look around at the trees and got some expert advice and finally selected a Rowan tree.
