MILNGAVIE based venture capital firm Nevis Capital is hoping to raise £5,000 in an innovative charity fundraising event.
The company is setting up a recycling business and aims to collect as many items as possible to recycle and turn into cash for the Micro Tyco charity challenge set by the WildHearts charity.
The Nevis team will be collecting old mobile phones, books, DVD’s, CD’s and clothing as well as bikes, furniture and any other items that can be recycled for cash. Items can be dropped off at their Cloberfield premises or they are happy to collect from the local area.
All proceedings go to underprivileged people in developing countries in the form of micro loans to set up their own businesses. For more information please visit www.wildheartsinaction.org.
