Milngavie Choir on song for its next concert

MILNGAVIE Choir has been very busy rehearsing for its next concert in New Kilpatrick Church Bearsden, on Saturday, March 23, starting at 7.30pm.

It’s the wonderful Mozart Requiem – one of the highlights of the choral repertoire.

The choir’s Music Director Razvan Luculescu and accompanist Flora Tzanetaki have been doing their usual sterling work at rehearsal.

For the concert, the choir will be accompanied by the hugely respected orchestra, Music Co-operative Scotland.

In addition the well-regarded organist of New Kilpatrick Church, Christopher Nickol will be accompanying the choir and their soloists.

This highly accomplished international team of soloists from Romania, Scotland and New Zealand are Roxana Nite, Catriona Morison, Stephen Chambers and George-Emil Crasnaru.

All of the choir’s loyal supporters will be very welcome, but members hope that many others – especially people who have never heard this amazing piece of music - will come and enjoy this very special concert.

Tickets can be purchased from choir members, the choir secretary (Jackie, 0141 334 6948), Milngavie Bookshop and at the door on the night.
