This year’s golf competition at Ross Priory Golf Club in Gartocharn for members of local Masonic Lodges raised £4,500 for Strathcarron Hospice.

Brother Andrew McKinnon, The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Stirlingshire, presented James Brown from Strathcarron Hospice, with the cheque in Lodge Saint Andrew in Denny recently. With them are various office-bearers and committee members of Provincial Grand Lodge and Brother Robert McLaren, The Right Worshipful Master of Lodge Saint Andrew 176.

The 23 Lodges in Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshires have held this event for the last 19 years with at least one team, sometimes two from each Lodge taking part. Each team is sponsored by the members of the Lodges and over the years they have raised over £60,000 for various charities.

Strathcarron Hospice celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
