MARIE Curie Cancer Care is appealing for people in Bearsden and Milngavie to donate an hour of their time this February and March, to collect for the charity’s annual Great Daffodil Appeal.
The appeal is the charity’ biggest fundraiser which encourages everyone to give a donation and wear a daffodil pin.
They need volunteer collectors to encourage people in the local community to wear a daffodil pin and give a donation.
Money raised will help Marie Curie nurses to provide more free care to local people with a terminal illness.
Susan Cuthbert of Marie Curie Cancer Care said: “We need people to help with our collections this February and March. Donating just one or two hours of your time to the appeal will allow Marie Curie nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes and the Marie Curie Hospice Glasgow.”
