The road where a water main burst in Bearsden, flooding homes in the process, may remain closed till Friday, July 19.
Up to 23,000 households lost water supplies following the incident on Monday.
Properties in Cluny Drive and Avenue were innundated.
Maryhill Road is still closed from south of its junction with Coronation Way to its junction with Killermont Avenue, near Garscube Bridge.
Grace Irvine, East Dunbartonshire Coun-cil’s director of neigh-bourhood services, said: “It is anticipated the road will be closed between Canniesburn Toll and its junction with Rannoch Drive until July 19.”
