This year’s East Dunbartonshire October Holiday Creative Festival is all about everything that is great about humans and technology.
From robots to puppets, drawing to filming, there is something to keep every child amused during the school holidays.
The programme includes: Bits and Bobs – Junior Jewellery at Lenzie Library. Come along and become a jewellery designer for the morning!
Stop Start Animation at Lenzie Hall. A great afternoon’s introduction to animation! Get drawing, making and filming your masterpiece.
Friends Electric presented by Visible Fictions at Cairns Church, Milngavie. A magical story about a spark of connection between a human and a robot.
Cardboard Robots at the Barony Chambers, Kirkintilloch. Back by phenomenal demand during summer! Use cardboard boxes to build your own robot!
Lapin Wants Breakfast at Woodhill Evangelical Church. A puppet show about a very hungry French rabbit that will only eat ONE THING for breakfast. What could it be?
Upside-down Drawing at Bishopbriggs Library. Create amazing art inspired by important parts of the human body.
The Pied Piper presented by Sokobauno at Kilmardinny Arts Centre, Bearsden. A fascinating story in the most magical caravan environment, with muppets, music and morals.
Body Puzzles presented by Glasgow Print Studio at Kilmardinny Arts Centre. Create your own wild and wacky characters during this fun printmaking workshop. What is a squeegee?!
