Lots of fun events at Mugdock Country Park

IF you are in need of a good laugh why not go along to a comedy night at Mugdock Country Park on Friday, October 5 at 7.45pm.

This is an evening of stand-up comedy withthree acts and two intervals as part of East Dunbartonshire Tourism Arts Festival. Cost £10. Booking is essential, phone 0141 956 6100.

Take a closer look at the sun by going to the cosmic way roadshow at the park on Sunday, October 7 between 11am and 3pm. Participants will get the chance to look for sun spots and solar flares with the park’s very special solar telescope. See the park’s website for all the cosmic activites you can take part in on this great day. This event is free.

The old adage - that there is a broken heart for every light on Broadway - is brought to life in this blockbuster adapted from the long running Broadway stage play. Starring Ginger Rogers and Katherine Hepburn. You can join the Cinema Club on the evening. Booking is essential, call 0141 956 6100.
