Volunteers needed for Carers Link in Milngavie

CARERS Link in Milngavie offers crucial support to carers throughout East Dunbartonshire and they need more people to help them.

If you have ever thought about volunteering for a good cause this is the perfect opportunity because they need you.

There are many different ways to volunteer including providing telephone support and computer training to carers, helping at groups and training events and assisting in the office with admin and project support.

No formal qualifications are required – just a keen interest in people. Training, on-going support and out-of-pocket travel expenses are provided.

Go along to their open day at Milngavie Enterprise Centre, Ellangowan Road, G62 8PH on Wednesday, January 23 from 10am to 3pm to find out more or contact Sharon on Freephone 0800 975 2131 or email Sharon@carerslink.org.uk
