Views sought on council’s planning framework document

A six week consultation exercise on the Council’s designated use of land in the district will start on Monday February 11.

The Local Plan 2 as it is called was adopted in October 2011, but the authority will run a public consultation, giving local people a chance to comment on planning issues contained in the Guidance Notes of the plan. The closing date for responses is Monday March 25.

The Guidance Notes provide people with background information on specific planning matters and give detailed information on how the Council intends the policies within the Local Plan 2 to be implemented.
