The organisers of a gig which was held in Milngavie recently in memory of local legend Erne Parkin would like to thank everyone who supported the event.
The concert raised £602 for Erne’s favourite charity - The Suzy Fund which helps to feed children in Africa.
Four piece band, Slowtrain, played live as well as some great guest such as Mike Simons, Erne’s son Chris Parkin, Shawn and Ryan Corbett plus Iain Reekie.
One of the organisers, John McNamara, said: “Erne is much missed, but the annual gig is a great way of paying tribute to him.
“It was a fantastic evening - thanks to everyone who attended and made it happen.
“Erne’s wife Dorothy also passed on an enormous thanks to everyone who bought tickets.”
