Head along to Tesco in Milngavie this Saturday (March 8) to help them raise cash for a great cause - Diabetes UK.
Staff will be dressing up in blue wigs and t-shirts and some brave male staff have volunteered to get their legs waxed at the front of the store, between 1pm and 2pm, by beauty therapists from Virgin Active in Milngavie.
There will also be a book stall as well.
Diabetes UK is Tesco’s charity of the year and they have already raised £10 million through the partnership.
A spokesperson for the campaign said: “We are working together to create healthier communities, and to help support those affected by, and at risk of, diabetes.
“With the money raised so far, Diabetes UK has been able to do many fantastic things, including helping 70,000 people check their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
“Thank you to everyone who has got involved so far and helped us to reach the £10 million target. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Tesco in 2014: with your help we will continue to change the lives of people living with, and at risk of, diabetes.”
