Open night for past and present staff at Milngavie Fire Station

EVERYONE - past and present - who has served or been affiliated with ‘F’ troop (North Command) is invited to go along to an open night at Milngavie Fire Station on Wednesday, March 20 at 7.30pm.

The event has been organised to allow those who have worked at Milngavie Fire Station to reminisce, commemorate and celebrate the end of Strathclyde Fire and Rescue which is going to become Scottish Fire and Rescue on April 1.

A spokesperson for the event said: “Come along, have a look around, see the changes in and sround the station, have a blether with your colleagues whether they are retired or still serving. Dig out those old photos and bring them along.”
