Milngavie and Bearsden folk join the fight for a fairer world

NEWLY established Bearsden and Milngavie Fairtrade group held a Fairtrade fashion show and fayre in Milngavie Town Hall on Saturday, March 9.

The event showcased clothes from local sources including Fairtrade school uniforms from Tesco and M&S, and Fairtrade and ethical clothing from Driftwood in Milngavie, Balmore Coachhouse and Think Boutique - an on-line company based in Glasgow. Milngavie Councillor Jim Gibbons is pictured with Martin Rhodes, Henry Kalomba and Howard Msukwa.
