Local girls land leading roles in ‘Annie’ musical at the King’s Theatre

Four talented girls from Bearsden are going to perform in the Lyric Club’s production of ‘Annie’ at the King’s Theatre which runs in Glasgow from April 8 to 12.

Two of them, Catriona Gallagher (9) a pupil at The High School of Glasgow, and Georgia Stewart (12) from Boclair Academy, have landed principal roles of orphans Pepper and Tessie in the production. While Zara Goziem-Ibonye (9) and Anna Strickland (8), both pupils at Killermont Primary School in Bearsden, will also be playing orphans.

There will be seven performances of Annie in total with two casts of orphans.
