A record number of runners and joggers turned out for the 2014 Lenzie Jog.
The popular event was held on Thursday, January 2, and was open to runners of all ages and abilities.
Last year’s jog attracted around 292 runners, but it’s thought that even more people took part this time round, kicking off the 2014 Commonwealth Games year in fine style.
Ruuners had three distances to chose from - a 2km run for the children and a 4.3km circuit for adults, which could be completed either once or twice, depending on each runner’s stamina and level of fitness.
The successful event was organised by Lenzie Community Councilin conjunction with Kirkintilloch Olympians.
