THE next meeting of Milngavie and Bearsden Historical Society is on Monday, January 14 at Kilmardinny House, Bearsden at 7.30pm.

The speaker is the eminent woodcutter and sculptor John Donaldson. He has reconstructed the series of carved oak portrait roundels known as the Stirling Heads in the King’s Hall at Stirling Castle.

All visitors welcome.
