Ronan McCabe was crowned Herald Bonny Baby 2011 earlier this year and reporter Laura Sturrock (left) presented Pauline Farmer (28) and John McCabe (31) with the prize - a £200 canvas print of their six-month-old son at Asda Bearsden last Thursday.

They also received a £20 gift card from William Smith, community colleague at Asda, sponsors of our annual competition.

“He is a very content and good natured boy - always smiling.”

William Smith added: “Ronan’s a real cute wee boy and we look forward to continuing to support this competition in future years.”

Ronan has an older sister Hollie (4).
