Children at Clober Primary in Milngavie held a Fairtrade Coffee morning at the school for parents on Friday, February 28.

They sold some Fairtrade goods on the day including chocolate, coffee and other snacks and treated their visitors to a Fairtrade cup of tea or coffee.

The children have been learning about Fairtrade and why it’s important to buy these goods and ensure that the producers get a fair price for their product.

Fairtrade is also about making sure that people have decent working conditions, ensuring local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.
