STIRLING Enterprise (STEP) will be offering its services to the West Stirlingshire community at a special event at the Black Bull Hotel in Killearn.

The information day, which takes place on Wednesday from 10am until 4pm, is free to attend and will offer advice on everything from learning new skills to starting or expanding your business.

STEP will also have a selection of agencies available including ILA Scotland, who can offer up to £200 towards the cost of retraining in a new profession or to brush up on old skills.

Among those also taking part in the event will be Job Centre Plus, the Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust, Atkinson and Co Chartered Accountants, Healthy Working Lives, HM Revenue and Customs, The Energy Savings Trust, Interface and Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise.

They will all be on hand for a friendly chat and to give out information and offer advice on the day.

A web marketing workshop will also be available on the day from 10am to 12pm.

Presented by STEP’s IT and web adviser, Graham Lambie, this will cover some of the aspects involved in marketing a website to increase traffic and sales for an online business.

There are a limited number of spaces available on the workshop and these should be booked in advance.

To register or for more information contact James Buchanan at Stirling Enterprise (STEP) on 01786 463 416 or e-mail jbuchanan@stirling-enterprise.co.uk
